My Favorite Recipe for Basic Chicken Breast- Instapot or Slow cooker With a twist! Use this massive meat prep as a way to host a protein for a nacho bar or taco bar at your party! Or buffalo chicken sliders, sandwiches, pizza! Endless possibilities! (But, used best every week for quick meal prep!) What you need:
📍Instapot or slow cooker
📍Chicken breasts- as many as you need or desire
📍Salt/pepper
📍Frank’s RedHot
THAT IS IT
The jist...instapot/slow cook chicken the way you normally would, no broth or water added, just salt & pepper your chicken first...drain (save the drained stuff! See below!) & shred or cube chicken...toss in 1-2 cups of Frank’s RedHot!!! Then I put back in whatever cooker & keep it on warm to serve! BOOM! Buff Buffalo Chicken!
Now you’ve got the basis for quick, juicy, tender chicken breast not only for a party but for every week prep! Cube it & top chopped salads, shred it for wraps & sandwiches, or work it into quick weeknight soups. This is just a recipe idea to get you started on unlimited possibilities!
Bonus For the drained juices: Don’t toss the broth! Whatever you do— you can use it to turn your chicken into soup or even to upgrade your lunch ramen!
