It is easy to scroll through instagram & get overwhelmed with so many “fit” accounts these days. Many accounts (myself included) can make it seem hard for a newbie to get lost in the swamp of information, drawn in by the lure of the quick fix, or just make it look so darn easy that it makes them feel like a failure before they even begin.
So here’s a simple solution until you find your sweet spot..
If exercise is already your jam, keep doing what you’re doing, but seek out the RIGHT nutrition plan FOR YOU! Learn the ins & outs of your missing piece & gradually make progress mastering it!
If you don’t feel like changing your eating habits, or already have the nutrition thing nailed down, pick a movement or a training program that you’ll enjoy & be consistent with! The only wrong exercise program is the one you aren’t doing it all!
If you DO need to add both of these to your life, start with one until you feel like you’ve mastered it then add in the second. Pick the lesser of “your evils” to master first! Then REWARD yourself with learning the second component!
Doing too much all at once WILL seem daunting, overwhelming & impossible. So take things at your pace!
The only way you will stick with your nutrition & exercise programs long term is if you actually enjoy them!
